Professional Background and Profile
My interest in real estate is two-fold. Real estate is one of the foundations of building wealth. So first, this is something I want to share with others. I moved my family to Northwest Arkansas in the year 1986 to build our life here, to raise our family here. My family is now grown, and my love of Northwest Arkansas has only grown stronger. My second motivation as a Realtor is my love of this area. I hope to serve those seeking a home in Northwest Arkansas. Buying and owning real estate is the largest investment most people make in their lifetime. I seek to help others make a good investment in their home all the while finding the home where they discover the community that speaks to them in a personal way. I have personal experience in residential, commercial, and lease properties in real estate. I strive to be a generalist for others in these areas.
I was a securities and investment broker with A.G. Edwards for 17 years. After retiring from this profession in 2002, my wife, Renee, and I started our own business, French Metro Antiques, on Dickson Street in Fayetteville. Our family business has been importing French art and antiques since 2003. We moved to Fayetteville in 1986 after I read an article in the Wall Street Journal about Northwest Arkansas being cited as the Silver Strand, a place where epic growth was going to occur in the United States. My wife and I were starting out in life and were seeking a place to raise our family and make our fortune. Renee and I have been married 38 years and have four grown children. Three of them live in historic homes in Fayetteville within three blocks of our home in the Washington Willow Historic District where they were raised. The fourth is a diplomat for the U.S. government and is currently posted in Quito, Ecuador. My wife Renee and I have passed on our love of travel, art, history, and foreign cultures to our children. By extension, we endeavor to share that passion more broadly with our community.
